Marine type SMPS rectifier is very resistant with special cabin design to corrosion caused by salty and humid weather conditions of marine environment. The control cards and connection points are protected to resist these harsh conditions and have a very long service life.

It can be operated safely with mains or generator and can be used as battery charge and supply dc power source.

Advantage: High quality DC output signal. Ripple value is below 0.5%. It is easy to carry because of its small size and light structure.

Disadvantage: Isolated transformer type can be easily malfunctioned due to its more sensitive structure than thyristor controlled rectifiers and it is more difficult to repair the fault due to its complex structure.
