Machines that need to be used outdoors are also affected by excessive changes in voltage.

However, the standard type of static regulators can not be used in open environments such as excessive heat generated by the sun’s rays, rain, snow, etc. because of malfunction. As a special solution for such situations, we have Outdoor (static) type regulator production. The internal walls of these regulators cabinets are covered with heat insulation materials against sun rays and are designed in accordance with IP54, IP65 standards to prevent the ingress of rain and similar liquids.In addition, special filters are added to the ventilation inlets to prevent the entrance of dust particles.

It can be used without worrying in places where there is no place to be installed in indoor areas, in places where hospitals, factories, residences etc. have to be put into external environment.

Surge arrester is used to protect against the effects of lightning due to external environment.

The electronic semiconductor materials that used for regulation in an external type static regulator have been selected to suit these harsh conditions.

Agricultural irrigation systems, tower cranes used in construction sites, etc. is used safely under heavy conditions.

In the regulator transformers, electricity consumption is minimized with the high efficiency obtained by using silicon blended sheet metal. In the winding of the transformers, copper wires with H0 class enamel coating resistant to 200 centigrade heat are used. Thanks to the protection unit (high voltage, low voltage, over current, over heat), the static regulator is deactivated in hazardous situations.
