UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLY (UPS)
Uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) are used to prevent malfunctions and ensure continued operation of sensitive electrical devices during power outages or voltage fluctuations. There are two types: Line Interactive and Online.
Online UPSs utilize high-frequency PWM and IGBT technology to generate a pure sine wave signal. This signal allows them to easily power all types of loads (linear and nonlinear).
While standard UPSs offer 3-10 minutes of backup power in case of a power outage, this time can be extended according to user demand.
1/1 and 3/1 UPS types are used in residential and office settings, while 3/3 types are more commonly used in industrial settings.
